Claims

In an ignition system for an internal combustion engine in which a tachometer sensor harness for detecting engine speed is connected between the negative terminal of the primary coil and the movable contact, an inductor is connected near the positive terminal of the negative secondary coil and the sensor harness is connected to the sensor harness. A noise prevention device for an ignition device, characterized in that a resistor is interposed near the connection point, and a capacitor with one end grounded is connected between the inductor and the primary coil and between the resistor and the movable contact.
