て前記電子ビームが所望の色螢光体ストライプを所定の

カラー陰極線管において、前記インデックス螢光体スト
ライプの幅を前記ガートバンドの幅よ゛　りも少許幅狭
に設定するとともに該インデックス螢光体ストライプに
隣接する色螢光体ストライプへの電子ビームの照射を遮
らないように前記インデックス螢光体ストライプを前記
ガートバンド上において電子ビームの水平偏向角度に関
連して偏移せしめて配置したことを特徴とするビームイ
