査したとき前記インデックス素子から得られるインデッ
クス信号に色信号を合成して前記色信号に基づく電子ビ
ームが所定の螢光体を衝撃するようにしたビームインデ
ックス型カラーテレビジョン受像機において、軸方向に
全体としてビンクッション磁界であるがフェースプレー
トに近い前方側においてバレル磁界の特性をもつ水平偏
向コイルと、軸方向に全体としてバレル磁界であるが前
方側においてビンクッション磁界の特性をもつ垂直偏向
コイルを使用して非点収差によるビームスポット形状が
画面周辺で螢光体ストライプと同方向の縦長になるよう
にしたビームインデックス型カラーテレビジョン受像機
