By the way, in switching equipment such as gas cylinders and disconnectors that are widely used in power plants, etc., if the contacts become excessively worn due to long-term use or multiple operations,
The operation of the switching device may become incomplete, and there is a risk that various devices connected to the switching device may be damaged. In view of these points, the present invention utilizes the fact that the contactor is overheated when wear or the like occurs on the contactor, and detects an abnormal temperature rise in the contactor part. It is an object of the present invention to provide a contact defect detection device for switching equipment that can detect defective contacts and completely prevent the occurrence of accidents as described above.

On the other hand, a passing current measuring device 8 for measuring the value of the current passing through both contacts 2 and 3 is provided at an appropriate location on the power supply path connected to the conductor 7 having the fixed contact 2 at one end. The passing current value signal from the passing current measuring device 8 is applied to the temperature reference value setting device 9. A signal from the outside temperature measuring device 10 is also applied to the temperature reference value setting device 9, and a contact temperature reference value corresponding to the current passing through the contact and the outside air temperature is calculated and set there. That is, when the movable contact contacts the fixed contact and the haze path is in the closed state, both contacts generate heat and rise in temperature even if their operation is normal. However, this temperature rise also changes depending on the magnitude of the current flowing through the part and the outside temperature, so the reference temperature of the contact at that point corresponding to the magnitude of the current and the outside temperature is determined by the passing current measuring device 8 and the outside temperature. Based on the signal from the outside temperature measuring device 10, the temperature reference value setting unit 9 calculates and sets the temperature reference value. By the way, the setting signal from the setting device 9 is applied to the comparator 11, where it is compared with the actual contact temperature signal detected by the contact temperature measurement device 6, and the difference signal is sent to the alarm. 12 and recording device 13, and when the actual temperature of the contact portion becomes higher than the temperature reference set value, the alarm 12 is activated to issue an alarm.

In the above embodiment, an outside air temperature signal is applied to the temperature reference value setting device 9, but the temperature reference value is set by detecting the gas temperature in the vicinity of the tank 1 as an environmental condition. In addition, in the case of a switchgear installed outdoors, environmental conditions such as sunlight and wind speed can be added to the temperature rise reference value determination conditions as necessary. However, due to wear and tear on both contacts due to years of use or multiple closing operations, both contacts become overheated and their temperature rises abnormally. The abnormal temperature rise is detected by being applied to the comparator 11 via the temperature measuring device 6 and compared with a set value, thereby issuing an alarm, and at the same time recording the daily variation of the temperature. Recorded by device 13.

As explained above, in the present invention, the actual temperature of both contact portions is constantly compared with a reference temperature determined by the magnitude of passing current, environmental conditions, etc., and an alarm is issued when the actual temperature rises abnormally above the reference temperature. This makes it possible to detect faulty contacts due to wear and tear before the switchgear becomes completely inoperable, and to know when it is appropriate to replace the contacts. It has the effect of
