Abstract

PURPOSE:To make mating of a punch face easy and inexpensive and to improve the quality of a product by coating a paint having low volatility and compatibility with an org. solvent on the surface of a casting pad and bringing the pad, after drying, into press contact with a sample plate so that the pad surface conforms to the sample plate. CONSTITUTION:The surface of a casting pad is cleaned and a paint dissolved in a solvent such as toluene is coated thereon to form a film layer having viscosity and plasticity for a while after drying. A sample plate is placed on a punch and the pad is brought into press contact therewith. The film layer surfaces adheres tightly to the plate surface in conformity therewith and is thus satisfactorily transferred. Die mating after thorough setting of the paint is improved and pressing to a satisfactory shape is executed without flawing the product. The man-hour for die mating is considerably reduced.

This is done by lowering the workpiece and punching and bending the outer circumference of the workpiece.
Cast metal is generally used for the workpiece when the upper mold is raised after shearing and shearing. However, if the clearance between pad 1 and punch 2 is uneven as shown in Figure 1, In areas where the clearance for the punch 1 is locally narrow, such as the area A, the product 3 is likely to be damaged. On the other hand, in order to make the clearance between the pad 1 and the punch 2 completely uniform, the bulging portion like the part A must be cut and removed many times, and the face-to-face operation with the punch 2 requires a large amount of man-hours.

That is, the method of manufacturing the press-type pad surface of the present invention involves applying a slowly volatile organic solvent-based paint to the surface of a cast pad, drying it, and then pressing it onto a sample plate.1. , the surface shape of the pad is made to follow the surface shape of the sample plate.

In order to make the surface shape of the pad imitate the surface shape of the sample plate, it is necessary to select a paint that allows the dried coating on the pad to retain its viscosity and plasticity for some time. Further, it is desirable that this recoating J has strong adhesive strength that does not dissolve in other solvents or peel off.

After polishing the surface of the pad 1 shown in Figure 2-1 with water and washing it with white gasoline, paints with the following compositions, manufactured by Aisin Kako Co., Ltd., product names: Panguard MK07 (curing agent) and Panguard IVIKO7-10, were applied. (main agent) is applied so that the thickness of the coating film 4 after being applied is 0.3 to 0.5.

As shown in FIG. 3, a pad surface 6 having a uniform clearance with respect to the punch 2 is formed. In this way, once the pad surface 6 is formed on the surface of the pad 1, the load is not concentrated on a local part of the product, and a product without scratches can be obtained even after repeated use.

As mentioned above, even if the clearance with the punch is not completely uniform, the method of the present invention provides a surface shape that follows the product shape, thereby greatly reducing the number of man-hours required for aligning the pad with the surface of the punch. It is possible to mass produce products with good quality and no damage while reducing costs.
