Abstract

PURPOSE:To direct horizontally air discharged from an opening of a panel by bulging the upper portion of a horizontal bend of a duct extending upward and fitting the rear end of a nozzle horizontally mounted on an opening of a panel in an end of the duct to provide a constant sectional area of a flow path. CONSTITUTION:Air from below a duct 5 advances horizontally toward an opening 2 beneath a nozzle 6 as shown by the stream line 7 and advances downward toward the opening 2 as shown by the stream line 8 along a bulging portion 5a on the upper portion of the duct 5 in the upper portion of the nozzle 6. As a whole the air advancing to the opening 2 is directed downward. And the opening 2 is inclined forward upward in a compartment, and the outside outline of the duct 5 and the nozzle 6 is gradually transformed as it transfers to A-A. B-B.C-C to provide a constant sectional area so that air discharged from the opening 2 into the compartment is directed horizontally.

(Prior Art) A conventional vehicle ventilator has a ventilator nozzle 3 in an opening 2 of an instrument panel 1, as shown in FIG.
The top of the duct 4, which extends from the bottom to the top, was curved into an arc with the same cross section, and the top of the duct 4 was curved in an arc shape with the tip horizontal, and the top of the duct 4 was fitted and fixed to the bare end of the ventilator nozzle 3. Since the lumend panel 1 is tilted forward and upward inside the vehicle, air flowing upward from the bottom of the duct 4 is rectified almost horizontally below the horizontal ventilator nozzle 3, but not above it. Therefore, there was a drawback that the wind blown from the opening 2 toward the passenger compartment tends to be directed upward toward the upper part, and almost no wind reaches the lower part.

(Objective) An object of the present invention is to make the air blown out from the instrument panel opening into the vehicle interior substantially horizontal.

(Embodiment) Next, an embodiment of the present invention shown in the attached FIGS. 2 to 4 will be described in detail. Reference numeral 5 denotes a duct extending upward from below, the upper part of which is bulged upward to form a bulging part 5α, and the upper part 6α of the titrator nozzle 6 is attached to the opening 2 of the instrument panel 1 in a substantially horizontal manner. The tip of the duct 5 is fitted and fixed to the rear end of the nozzle 6 with a slight upward slope following the bulge 5α of the duct 5 and the nozzle 6. , B-B position, C-
As it moves to the C position, it gradually deforms so that the cross-sectional area becomes constant.

Next, the effect will be explained. Air from below the duct 5 moves horizontally toward the opening 2 like the streamline 7 below the nozzle, and above the nozzle 6, the air flows through the bulge 5a at the top of the duct 5.
The air advances downward toward the opening 2 along the streamline 8, and the air traveling toward the opening 2 as a whole is directed downward. Since the opening 2 is a single chamber and is inclined forward and upward, the discharged air blown out from the opening 2 into the vehicle compartment is horizontal.

(Effects) According to the present invention, the upper part of the duct which points upward from the bottom is bulged upward, and the tip of the duct is fitted and fixed to the rear end of the vent rake nozzle which is installed approximately horizontally in the opening of the interior panel. Since the cross-sectional area of the flow path from the duct to the nozzle is substantially constant, the direction of the air discharged from the opening of the instrument panel can be made horizontal.
