Claims

A pair of reels are rotatably housed in a cassette housing, and a reel stopper is provided with teeth formed on the outer periphery of each reel, and a reel stopper that is slidably configured to move in and out of the middle of the reels. The reel stopper is provided with a pair of elastic locking claws that are respectively engaged with the teeth, and the reel stopper is pressed by a biasing means to slide toward the intermediate portion. In the tape cassette, the locking pawls are engaged with the tooth portions to restrict the rotation of the reels in the tape feeding direction. A tapered surface is provided at the upper end of the rear end surface, and when the urging means is inserted into the rear part of the reel stopper from above, the urging means is guided by the tapered surface and slides into the pressing position of the rear end surface. A tape cassette characterized by comprising:
