Captapol, TPN, cabtane, or dithiocarbamate fungicides are widely used as agricultural and horticultural fungicides due to their excellent effects on controlling late blight and downy mildew on various crops, and have a significant contribution to increasing crop production. However, all of these drugs only show preventive effects against late blight and downy mildew, and no therapeutic effect can be expected at all.

The pyrimidine compounds described in the above publication have particularly excellent control effects against late blight, downy mildew, etc. of various crops caused by algal fungi, but their superior effects are only noticeable after 7 to 10 days after application. The effect was produced in a short period of time, and there was a problem with the sustained effect after that. Therefore, the present inventors continued intensive studies to solve this problem, and found that one or more pyrimidine compounds represented by the general formula (1) shown in Table 1 and captapol, TPN, cabtane, or dithiocarbamate. The present invention was completed based on the discovery that an excellent pesticidal effect can be obtained by using a mixture of fungicides and one or more fungicides.
