４の上流部と下流部の主空気通路３に連通した補助空気
通路２と、該補助空気通路２の流量を計量する計量ニー
ドル６と、アイドル時には前記絞り弁４の下流の負圧を
利用して前記計量ニードル６を計量位置に前進させ、ア
イドル時以外の時には前記計量ニードル６を前記計量位
置より後退させるようにしたダイアフラム装置７と、前
記計量ニードル６の外周面に接触するようにして吸気筒
本体１側に固設した清掃部材１３とよりなり、前記計量
ニードル６の後退量と清掃部材１３の固設位置との関係
を、計量ニードル６の後退時にその計量部６ａが清掃部
材１３に達するように定めたことを特徴とする内燃機関
