  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 一（１）円盤状のガラス基盤に磁気材料薄膜を積層して
    なる磁気記録ディスクにおいて、該磁気材料薄膜が直接
    ガラス基盤に積層され、該磁気材料薄膜上に４００〜１
    ８００オングストロームの厚さの有機シリコン化合物の
    焼成５ｉｎ２保護膜を有することを特徴とする磁気記録
    ディスク。 （２）該ガラス基板がコルバーン法又はフロート法によ
    り連続的に成形されたソーダ・ライム・シリカガラス板
    である実用新案登録請求の範囲第１項記載の磁気記録デ
    ィスク。
