Claims

[Claims for Utility Model Registration] 1. A gas detector equipped with at least a gas detection element that responds to hydrogen gas, a hydrogen storage metal, and a heating means for heating the hydrogen storage metal to a temperature suitable for releasing hydrogen; A gas detector comprising power cutoff means for cutting off power supply to the heating means when the gas detection element detects gas. 2. The power cutoff means includes a relay operated by a by-product of the detection output of the detection circuit that determines that the gas detection element has detected a predetermined level of gas, and a contact point of the relay provided in the power supply line of the heating means.
