締結する所謂三点式シートベルト装置に関するものであ
る。

三点式シートベルト装置として、第1図に示すように、
シートベルト1の一端をリトラクタ2を介して車体側方

ルー3に挿通した上で下方に引き延ばして例えばサイド
シルの車室内側等の車体の下方部に設けたアンカー4に
固定し、該スルー3とアンカー4間においてシートベル
ト1にタング5を摺動可能なるよう挿通し、該タング5
を座席7の中央側脇下部の車体部材(例えばフロア或は
フロアに固定された部材)に取付けたバックル6に係合
ロックさせることにより鎖線示の如くシートベルト1が
乗員の肩部及び腰部にフィツトし、バックル6よりタン
グ5をはずすとシートベルト1はリトラクタ2に自動的
に巻き取られ実線示のように解除状態となる形式のもの
が従来より用いられている。
