Important quality characteristics of thermosetting resin molding materials include moldability and thermal stability. Molding processability refers to the fluidity of the resin in order to inject the molten resin into the mold during molding with a molding machine, and the ability to inject the molten resin into the mold in as short a time as possible. On the other hand, thermal stability refers to the ability to maintain a molten state by heating or thickening in the cylinder of a molding machine, such as an injection molding machine. The various properties of these molding materials naturally depend on various raw materials, but are most influenced by the heating and kneading steps during the manufacturing process.

In the batch method, raw materials are put on rolls and kneaded all at once, and the adjustment of the degree of kneading of the molding material relies largely on the knowledge and intuition of the operator's experience. Therefore, it has been difficult to uniformly control the degree of bran in the molding material. On the other hand, although the conventional continuous method has high productivity, it has the disadvantage that the heating and kneading of the materials on the rolls is not uniform.

That is, it was difficult to smoothly feed the material wrapped around the roll surface, and it was not possible to make the residence time of the material constant. Therefore, a stable molding material with large variations in moldability and fluidity could not be obtained. As a result of various studies, the present inventors focused on making the degree of kneading uniform in the heating kneading roll work and automatically continuous kneading work.
By using a combination of a plowing scraper, a dividing blade, and a feed blade, the material sheet on the mixed roll can be easily and continuously transferred from Fuzungou City to Jingzhu City. It was found that the residence time on the roll was constant and uniform green kneading was possible.

It was confirmed that the molding material produced by this kneading method had stable quality with little variation in moldability and fluidity, and this led to the completion of the present invention.

A pair of kneading rolls 2 and 3 are arranged, with the kneading roll 3 being the side around which the material sheet is wound. Reference numeral 6 denotes a plowing scraper, which is disposed on the upper part of the roll 3 on the winding side of the formed sheet, and the tip of the plowing scraper 6 is arranged tangentially to and in contact with the roll surface.

The plowing scraper 6 is disposed over the entire width of the kneading roll 3, that is, from the raw material supply area to the forming material sheet takeout area. A mixed twill sheet dividing blade 7 with an acute-angled tip is mounted on the upper surface of the plow scraper 6.
A feed blade 8 is fixed almost perpendicularly to the upper surface of the par 6, and is angled toward the sheet take-out side at the rear of the dividing blade 7.
is located. These dividing blades 7 and feeding blades 8 are a set, and their function is to plow up the material sheet 9 wound around the kneading roll and separate it from the kneading roll surface with the scraper 6, and then immediately divide it into the dividing blades 7. The sheet-like kneaded material is divided into 9' and 9" sheets and fed onto rolls. At this time, the separated 9" sheet-like kneaded material is further cut into sheets by a feed blade 8. They are sequentially transferred to the extraction side. The number of dividing blades and feeding blades is determined by the scale of the roll, kneading time, etc., but a normal roll is equipped with about 2 to 6 sets. The scraper 10 for taking out the kneaded sheet is arranged at the end of the sheet take-out side, and is usually designed so that its position can be adjusted depending on the degree of kneading.

Further, 4 and 5 are stock guides on both sides. Next, the kneading method of the present invention using the above apparatus will be explained. Raw materials for the thermosetting resin molding material, ie, various resins, curing agents, fillers, mold release agents, and additives for aging are homogeneously mixed and continuously supplied to the supply area of the above-mentioned apparatus. Heated mixed wire rolls 2 and 3
When the raw material 13 is rotated in the direction of the arrow, the raw material 13 is mixed and becomes a sheet-like falconry material 9 on the winding side roll surface. The material sheet 9 wound around the roll surface is separated from the roll surface by the plow scraper 6 with each rotation and falls into the roll gap again to be kneaded. Since the raw material is continuously supplied from one end, the sheet-shaped thickened material 9 moves to the sheet take-out side, but in the device of the present invention,
A plow scraper 6 is used as a method for more active transfer.
Then, the sheet-like kneaded material 9 separated from the roll surface is cut by the cutting blade 7, and the sheet-like mixed twill material 9 is further cut.
'' is forcibly transferred to the opposite side by the feed blade 8. After being sequentially refried, it is separated from the roll surface by the kneaded sheet take-out scraper 10 arranged on the sheet take-out side. The material is sent to the drying and pulverizing process. The mixing method according to the present invention allows homogeneous heating and mixing by keeping the residence time of the raw materials on the rolls constant, and further, depending on the degree of the mixing state. By adjusting the position of the take-out scraper, a molding material with fluidity suitable for the purpose can be obtained.
