置において、複数個のカートリッジが放射状の配列で装
填され、機械本体まわりの二位置に並設された円板形ま
たは長円板形の２゜つの工具マガジンと、前記２つの工
具マガジン間に掛は渡されていずれかの工具マガジンか
ら外向きに移動される前記カートリッジを摺動案内する
直線案内路を有したカートリッジ案内装置と、前記２つ
の工具マガジンのそれぞれに設けられて複数個の収納カ
ートリッジの１つを前記カートリッジ案内装置の直線案
内路に整列する位置に各独立に割出すことができる工具
マガジン割出し装置と、前記カートリッジ案内装置の直
線案内路と整列した位置に割出されたカートリッジを該
カートリッジ案内装置に移動させ前記直線路上の工具交
換位置に所望の工具ソケットを割出すカートリッジ割出
し装置と、前記工具交換位置に割出された工具ソケット
の工具を機械の工具主軸に転送し該工具主軸に装着され
ている工具を前記工具交換位置に割出された工具ソケッ
トに転送する工具転送装置とを備えたことを特徴とする
工作機械の工具交換装置。 ２ 実用新案登録請求の範囲第１項に記載の工具交換装
置において、前記カートリッジ割出し装置は、前記２つ
