Abstract

PURPOSE:To produce a metallic mesh expressing freely a picture pattern by coating pieces each made of a metal having claws individually with specific paints of different colors and combining adequately the same with metallic rings of the same colors or different colors into a fabric shape. CONSTITUTION:Thin metallic sheets consisting of aluminum, brass, etc. are individually coated preliminarily with thermosetting acrylic resin paints of at least >=2 kinds of different colors and are sheared, pressed and bent to manufacture pieces 1 erected with claws 11. The same thin metallic sheet is blanked to form rings 2. The claws 11 of each piece 1 are freely inserted into the circule of the ring 2 and are bent oppositely inward. The other piece 1 is further detained via the ring 2 to the piece 1, by which a metallic mesh is formed like a woven fabric. A picture pattern P is produced by combining adequately the pieces 1 and the rings 2 having different color relations.

This metal mesh consists of a piece and a ring, both of which are made by punching and bending a metal plate while shearing. Each piece has several molds on it, and the ring is loosely inserted into the claw. By bending the pieces inward to face each other, multiple pieces are placed adjacent to each other front to back and left and right through rings to form a woven fabric, which is then dyed with an appropriate base material and used as a material for handbags, etc. It is generally provided.

After being assembled into a woven fabric, it is painted by means such as spraying, so it is difficult to obtain a metal mesh with a complex color pattern. It was considered impossible to express complex patterns as it was limited to color. Also,
In order to give the metal mesh a cloth-like flexibility, the claws and rings of the pieces are loosely fitted, so when the metal mesh is expanded, the spacing between each piece is not always constant, so there is no exposure between the pieces when spray painting. There is a problem in that it is almost impossible to paint all of the rings, leaving unpainted parts. Even if the exposed part of the ring could be completely painted, since the ring is rotatably locked against the wind, the part that is hidden by the pieces during painting and is not painted will leak between the pieces during use. It often appears. In silver or beige colors, the unpainted part of this ring is not as noticeable as on the left, but in dark colors such as black or red, it becomes noticeable and greatly detracts from its aesthetic appearance.

The present invention has been made in view of the above, and is coated in advance with a thermosetting acrylic resin paint that does not damage the coating even during the shearing, punching and bending processes, and at least the beast and the nail 11 integrated therewith.・As for -, by obtaining pieces and rings from metal plates coated with at least two or more different colors, it has an excellent appearance and can freely express patterns separated by color. To provide metal mesh.

To explain the present invention with reference to drawings, Fig. 1 is a perspective view of a typical metal mesh of the present invention, Fig. 2 is a partially cutaway top view of Fig. 1, and Fig. 3 is a partially cutaway side view of the same. FIG. 4 is a partially cutaway back view of the same, and FIG. 5 is an enlarged perspective view of the pieces and rings that constitute the metal mesh of the present invention. That is, the present invention provides a beast with several claws each made by shearing, punching, and bending a thin metal plate such as aluminum, brass, or iron, and a beast that strikes the thin metal plate. By combining the ring 2 produced by punching, the claws 11 that stand on each of the pieces are loosely inserted into the ring of the ring 2, and are bent inwardly toward each other. By doing so, each of the above beasts... is sequentially passed through the ring 2-...
In the method of manufacturing a metal mesh formed into a woven fabric by adjoining each other in a locked state in the front, back, left and right, at least The beasts and claws 11... are individually coated with thermosetting acrylic resin paint in advance so that they have at least two different colors, and each of the resulting beasts and claws 11... In combination with rings 2--. of the same color or different colors, the above-mentioned woven fabric is formed, and in the resulting metal mesh, each beast of a different color relationship to each other is separated by hue in a picture pattern (to express P). This is a method for manufacturing metal mesh characterized by the following.

In the illustrated example, piece 1 stands on four claws 11, and its upper surface is approximately octagonal, but it may also be approximately hexagonal and stand on three claws, and a plurality of pieces may be arranged on a flat surface. Any shape that repeats a regular arrangement when lined up is fine. Piece 1 is made by shearing and punching a thin metal plate coated with the above paint, and then extruding it (on the unpainted side if only one side is painted) and bending it (drawing). The ring 2 is manufactured by shearing and punching using an ordinary punching machine.

Aluminum, aluminum, iron, etc. can be used for the metal thin plate, but aluminum is most preferably used because of its light weight. It has been learned that the paint used to coat the metal plate must be a thermosetting acrylic resin paint that does not cause peeling or cracking of the paint film even when subjected to the above-mentioned shear punching and bending processes. .

In the case of the example, in order to express a fish pattern using two colors, silver and black, on the metal mesh, one metal plate was coated with silver thermosetting acrylic resin paint, and the other metal plate was coated with black paint. Paint each with the same paint and create the beast... and the claws 11... that are integrated with it from these two colored metal plates,
For ring 2..., I made a silver metal plate, and
A beast with two unique colors, claws 11,... are woven into a fabric-like pattern through rings 2... as shown in Figure 1, a picture of a fish divided into two hues, silver and black. Pattern P was expressed. With such metal mesh, it is possible to create complex patterns such as fish (for example), which was almost impossible with the conventional method of painting the metal mesh afterwards.
Not only is it possible to express this, but also the ring 2, which is exposed between the pieces when the metal mesh is expanded, is fully painted in advance, so if the unpainted part of the ring 2... is exposed during use, In order to wipe out the disgrace,
It is possible to achieve a harmonious appearance between the peace ring and the ring 2, and to create a natural appearance. In addition, in the present invention, if not only two colors but three or more colors are used in the biscuit 1 and the nails 11... as shown in the illustration, a more varied picture pattern P can be obtained. It will be understood that it is also possible to express. In addition, it is possible to change the woven structure and pattern of the metal mesh by selecting pieces of various shapes instead of the approximately octagonal piece shape shown in the example, and by selecting the position of the claw's standing position. Furthermore, the four edges of the piece can be formed into a flat piece without being squeezed as shown in the figure, and by combining this flat piece with a three-dimensional piece as shown in the figure, it can also be applied to mosaic-like ornaments.

As described above, according to the present invention, it is possible to express a complex picture pattern differentiated by hue, and the habit of exposing the unpainted part of the ring is avoided, which eliminates the limitations of conventional metal mesh. The range of uses has expanded dramatically, including handbags, wall hangings, vase holders, summer cushions, and various kimonos.
