<Prior art and its problems> Conventionally, short fiber bundles are interlaced with a false-twisted crimped yarn of thermoplastic synthetic fiber multifilament yarn with uniform fineness in the longitudinal direction of the yarn to form yarn unevenness, slabs, nep, etc. Processed yarns are well known and are disclosed, for example, in Japanese Patent Publications No. 17626/1983 and Japanese Patent Publication No. 12802/1982. However, in such conventional processed yarns, the so-called relatively uniform parts other than the slab part and the nep part are simply false-twisted and crimped parts, so that only an extremely monotonous visual effect can be obtained, which is beyond the realm of artificiality. It was something. Moreover, what was disclosed in Japanese Patent Publication No. 52-12802,
It has a structure in which short fiber bundles are wrapped around a single filament crimped yarn and the short fiber bundle is not actively held by the filament crimped yarn, so it is difficult to use in the weaving process or the product. When worn, the short fibers of the slab part may slip due to external effects such as friction or scratching, resulting in the so-called snagging phenomenon, or the slab part may suffer from partial pilling phenomenon. . On the other hand, what was disclosed in Japanese Patent Publication No. 51-17626 is
Since it has a structure in which short fiber bundles are attached to filament crimped yarn with an adhesive, it is possible to prevent the occurrence of snagging and pilling phenomena.
It has the disadvantage that it is hardened and lacks air content, giving the product a different feel and texture.

In order to eliminate the above-mentioned drawbacks, the present applicant previously disclosed in Japanese Patent Application No. 55-38476 a partial winding method in which two or more continuous multifilament yarns, at least one of which is made of thermoplastic synthetic fibers, are simultaneously false-twisted. We proposed a fancy yarn in which short fibers are sandwiched between shrunken yarn. This fancy yarn has a very fresh look in woven and knitted products,
The snagging phenomenon and pilling phenomenon hardly occurred, but between the time when each continuous multifilament yarn was fed out and twisted, a certain angle was set between the plane including the point where it was fed out and the point where it was twisted. Since the short fibers are fed and sandwiched between the continuous multifilament yarns, the short fibers are only held between the continuous filament yarns by the residual twist and do not get stuck to the winding of the continuous multifilament yarns. Therefore, when there is little residual twist in the crimped yarn,
In knitted fabric products where the binding force between yarns is weak, there remains the problem that prevention of short fibers from slipping off is insufficient.

In addition, the above-mentioned fancy yarns obtained by continuously supplying short fibers lack the effect of a null yarn, whereas those obtained by supplying short fibers intermittently do not have the effect of nulab yarns in areas other than the slab part. Since there is no entanglement of short fibers in the fabric, there is no entanglement of short fibers in any part of the yarn over the entire length of the yarn, and thus fabrics in which yarn portions without entanglement of short fibers are formed adjacent to each other. There was also a problem in that the appearance of the part did not look like short fibers were intertwined.

<Structure of the Invention> That is, the present invention provides a multifilament yarn in which a plurality of multifilament yarns, at least one of which is made of a thermoplastic synthetic fiber, is simultaneously false-twisted, and short fibers are attached to the multifilament yarn, and the remaining fibers are removed by the false-twisting process. Composite plate twisted yarn in which the short fibers are sandwiched between multifilament yarns by twisting, wherein bundles of short fibers are intermittent in the longitudinal direction of the yarn in the form of knotted threads,
In addition, it is a fancy yarn characterized in that short fibers are substantially homogeneously entangled in portions other than the knotted portions.

First, the fancy yarn of the present invention is made by simultaneously false-twisting a plurality of multifilament yarns, at least one of which is a thermoplastic synthetic fiber. This is a composite plate twisted yarn in which fibers are sandwiched between multifilament yarns. That is, in the fancy yarn of the present invention, it is essential that at least one of the multifilament yarns remains twisted, and therefore, at least one of the plurality of multifilament yarns must be made of thermoplastic synthetic fiber. be.

In the fancy yarn of the present invention, the short fibers are attached to the multifilament yarn, and the short fibers are held by the multifilament yarn due to the residual twist caused by the false twisting process. That is, in the fancy yarn of the present invention, as shown in FIG. (8) has a structure in which it is sandwiched between multifilament yarns due to the residual twist caused by the false twisting process. In this way, the short fibers are attached to the windings of one or both of the multifilament yarns constituting the simultaneous false-twisted yarn, and are held between the multifilament yarns, so that the short fibers simply is 1
It has a strong slip-off resistance of short fibers that cannot be obtained with a structure that is wrapped around a real filament yarn or a structure that is simply sandwiched between two groups of filament yarns.

In addition, if at least some of the filaments of the multifilament yarn made of thermoplastic synthetic fibers are fused, the shape fixing effect of the so-called normal twist due to stress relaxation of the thermoplastic multifilament yarn due to heat may occur. In addition, the effect of fixing the form of twist due to adhesion is multiplied by 41, so the twist density remaining in the yarn can be made much higher, and this residual twist allows short fibers to be formed between the multifilament yarns. It can be held even more firmly.

That is, as mentioned above, in the fancy yarn of the present invention, the partially crimped yarn has residual twist due to the false twisting process, so the portion where the short fiber bundle is sandwiched and entangled with the partially crimped yarn is
As shown in Figure 1-a, short fiber bundles exist in the form of knotted filaments,
It has a slab-like appearance, and even in the part where the short fibers are bundled and not entangled, there are ununtwisted, non-bulky parts where the twist in the false-twist heating direction remains, and the twist in the false-twist/untwist direction remains. In other words, after being untwisted to make it bulky, over-untwisted high parts which are further untwisted exist alternately and randomly, and short fibers are present in both of these parts as shown in FIG. As shown in Figure ○, since the yarns are substantially homogeneously entangled in the longitudinal direction, even when the short fibers are bundled and the unentangled portions are formed adjacent to each other, the appearance of the fabric is similar to that of the short fibers. The fibers appear to be intertwined over the entire surface, and the slab-like portion is... 111M will be clarified.

Even in areas other than slab-like areas where the short fibers are substantially homogeneously entangled, the multifilament yarns in these areas have natural irregularities in appearance due to the difference in bulk, as described above. Combined with the slab effect of the sandwiched and entangled short fiber bundles, it has an extremely fresh appearance.

The manufacturing principle of the fancy yarn of the present invention described above is, for example, in that two multifilament yarns, at least one of which includes a thermoplastic multifilament yarn, are fed to the same yarn feeding device with an interval maintained and subjected to simultaneous false twisting. At the supply side of the yarn feeding device, the short fiber braided yarn is moved obliquely to the hole axis in the nip portion between the nip points of the multifilament yarn and compressed air is supplied, while a suction action is performed on the inlet side; This is achieved by blowing the yarn by changing the amount of yarn fed from a supply device having a blowing action on the exit side.

Moreover, even in areas where short fibers other than knot-like fibers are substantially homogeneously entangled, there are natural appearance irregularities due to the bulkiness of the filament yarns, which, together with the slab effect of entangled short fiber bundles, creates a real appearance. The invented fancy yarn has a very novel appearance pattern.

1. A plurality of multifilament yarns, at least one of which is a thermoplastic synthetic fiber, are simultaneously false-twisted. Short fibers are attached to the multifilament yarn, and residual twist from the false twisting process causes the short fibers to become multifilament yarns. Composite plate twisted processed yarn sandwiched between yarns, in which short fiber bundles exist intermittently in the longitudinal direction of the yarn in the form of knotted threads, and are substantially homogeneous in parts other than the knotted thread-like portions. A fancy yarn characterized by intertwining of short fibers.
