Abstract

PURPOSE:To connect collectively plural multicore tape cable conductors with a connector and to take out only one multicore tape cable conductor independently by a new connector structure. CONSTITUTION:A holding means 22 consists of guide projections 24, which are formed on both side faces of a plug 16 and have triangular sections, and guide grooves 26 which are formed in corresponding parts of an insertion hole 20 of an adapter 18 and should be engaged with guide projections 24 and have triangular sections. Consequently, when a plug 16 of each multicore tape cable conductor 14 is so inserted that its guide projections 24 are engaged with guide grooves 26 of the insertion hole 20, this plug is matched to another plug inserted from the opposite side similarly, and multicore tape cable conductors 14 are connected to each other. Each plug 16 is provided with a knob 16a projecting to both sides in the rear end, and therefore, each plug 16 is attached to and detached from the adapter 18 independently.
