管を有する高圧金属蒸気放電灯において、 前記発光管の電極２の後方であって端士ヤツプ３の前面
に、耐熱性絶縁物からなるバックアーク防止体６を設け
るとともに、該バックアーク防止体６と前記端キャップ
３との間に、端キャップ３を固定する際に接着剤４が発
光管内に流入して電極２の心棒に到達するのを防止する
に十分な空間部７を設けたことを特徴とする高圧金属蒸
