【発明の詳細な説明】
近年省エネのため水力発電が見直されている。しかし標
準的な水力が開発し尽くされて、小規模の水力となるに
つれて、その条件は困難となり、じうらいのようにダム
を設けて、ペンストックによって水車に連結する高効率
の方法が、経済的にも困難となって来ている。このため
河川の水流のエネルギーを、あるがままの姿で、ダムや
ペンストックを設けることなく、簡便に利用する方法が
要望されるのである。この一つの方法として、パドルホ
イールによって駆動される外輪船とは逆に、パドルホイ
ールを設けたフロートを河川に浮べて、このフロートを
河川の水流に逆らって、ワイヤーやローブによって沿岸
に固定し、フロートに設けた、かじ、にょって、フロー
トが流れの適当な場所に出て浮上している状態を作り出
すのである。このフロート上に設けたバリルホイールに
よるパドル水車が、水流の速度エネルギーによって回転
せられ、このパドル水車に連結した発電機を駆動するの

である。5はパドル水車であって、外輪船のパドルホイ
ールと同様な構造とする。6.7はパドル水車5の左右
支持ブラケットであって、左右のフロート1.2に、そ
れぞれ固定される。8は左右フロート1.2を相互に連
結して一体化する連結材である。9はパドル水車5の外
側に押し付けて、第1段の増速をするゴムタイヤである
。10は第2段の増速機であって、やはりゴムタイヤで
