PURPOSE:To increase remarkably the recording capacity and the storage capacity of a tape by providing alternately the 1st and 2nd recordable parts along the lengthwise direction of the tape. CONSTITUTION:A tape 1 contains the 1st and 2nd recordable parts 2 and 3 provided alternately in the lengthwise direction L of the tape and with substantially equal spaces. The part 2 is suitably used as a record display part where desired items or pictures are printed or written.
