いる。DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION (Technical Field of the Invention) 1. The present invention relates to a novel electroluminescent display element. 1. (Prior Art and Problems) FIG. 1 is a sectional view of a conventional electroluminescent display element (hereinafter referred to as a kL display element). - In the figure, 1 is a transparent insulating film made of an organic transparent film, etc., and 2 is a mesh-like gold, aluminum, ITO (transparent metal oxide doped with indium oxide), etc., deposited on the transparent insulating film l. A transparent electrode capable of transmitting electroluminescent light (hereinafter referred to as "snoring light") formed by 3 is, for example, lead sulfide, 7, 7, zinc oxide, 1. ! Fluorescent material injected with activating agents such as manganese and hexachlorine, and activating agents such as elemental; 4 is a dielectric layer made of a high dielectric constant powder such as titanium oxide or barium titanate dispersed in an organic binder; 5 is a counter layer made of aluminum or foil containing 1, for example. It is an electrode. 6. Protects the inside with a transparent moisture filter.

Jl, the display element has 'pL% formed over the entire display surface, so when m pressure is applied, the entire surface of the display surface emits light.

用いられてきた。It is widely used in EL display elements, self-illuminated panels, and display panels for visually recognizing various functions. For such purposes, it was military expense to make figures and characters clearly visible when the lights were on, but in an emergency, the entire display surface would be blank and not be displayed at all, and such a display was desired. Therefore, the display contents are printed with ink etc. on the protective film 6 of the EL display screen whose entire surface emits light, or the printed masking film (the display contents are transparent and the surrounding area is distorted and transparent, or the display contents are opaque). (The surrounding area is transparent)
Paste to represent the display. (2) Place the storage film 6 with display contents printed on the transparent insulating film 1, or print the display contents with ink or the like on the transparent insulating film 1, and then cover the whole with the protective film 6. (2) Form electrodes in the required display pattern by etching or the like. Such methods have been used.

The printed color will be visible in the masked part, and unless the printed color is selected to be the same color as the phosphor layer 3, a difference in tone will occur between the masked part and the unmasked part. The displayed content will be clearly displayed regardless of whether the EL display element is lit or not.
The difference in display between when the light is lit and when it is not lit becomes small, making it difficult to distinguish between the lights being lit and the lights not being lit. In order to solve this problem, in recent displays, a translucent green-gray smoke film, for example, is placed on the display element so that the displayed content cannot be seen when the light is not lit. Other display problems such as leakage and weakening of brightness when turned on occurred, resulting in insufficient results.

Temple, there were manufacturing difficulties.

A transparent electrode set of O was formed by sputtering, and a paste of polycarbonate (fermentivity: 3.0) and ethyl acetate (30% F) was slurried on top of it.
The transparent insulating film 7 is formed by coating it in a desired shape using a printing method and drying it. Next, a slurry prepared by mixing retenoethylated cellulose dissolved in polyethylene glycol with a fluorescent powder containing zinc sulfide as a main component is applied and dried by a screen printing method to form a fluorescent layer 3. Further, after forming the electric conductor side 4 of the high-rut 1', a counter electrode 5 made of aluminum is bonded by thermocompression bonding, thereby completing the electroluminescent substrate. By adopting a structure in which the electrode is interposed between the electrode and the counter electrode, the entire display surface exhibits the same color when no voltage is applied, and no characters or symbols are displayed at all, and when voltage is applied, the transparent insulating film is illuminated. Without applying a sufficient electric field to cause the light body layer to emit light, only the part without the transparent insulating film emits light w4 and provides a clear display, so the display content when no voltage is applied as in the conventional case. There is no clear indication of this, and a clear display with good contrast can be seen only when the voltage is applied.
