Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the cost of a metal mold by using the same fitting body regardless of the presence or absence of fitting parts by making the thickness of the fitting parts for the fitting body smaller in fitting the fitting parts to the fitting body. CONSTITUTION:A part fitting device has a fitting body 4 as a thermosetting or thermoplastic resin molding and a fitting part 6 to be attached to the fitting body 4. The thicknss of the fitting portion 5 of the fitting part 6 is made smaller. The same fitting body 4 can thus be used regardless of the presence or absence of fitting parts to the fitting body 4, and thereby the cost of metal molds can be improved by reduction.

Conventional configurations and their problems Generally, when a certain type of product is developed, additional parts may be added to the product to provide additional functions and increase the product group. For example, Figure 1 shows a simple steam iron.
FIG. 2 shows a spray steam iron with a sprayer 2 attached.

When developing this type of iron, conventionally it was necessary to make two types of handles: one with a hole 3 for attaching the spray 2 to the handle 1, and the other without a hole. These holes were generally accommodated by making the mold a nested structure. Therefore, the mold production cost was high, and it was necessary to change the mold (insert) for each model, resulting in an overall high running cost. Furthermore, it is troublesome in terms of management (for example, it is necessary to distinguish between models without holes and models with holes), and since the molds are nested, the lifespan of the molds is shortened and maintenance is difficult. There were various problems across the board, including the need for frequent maintenance.

Purpose of the Invention The present invention solves these conventional problems and makes it possible to attach additional parts to the main body to which they are attached! This is a parts mounting device that allows the same mounting body to be used regardless of whether or not it is attached, reducing mold costs, running costs, and improving management and maintenance. It provides:

In this embodiment, as in the conventional example, a steam iron is used as the basic material, and in order to expand the material to a spray steam iron, a structure for attaching a spray nozzle to the steam iron will be described.

In FIG. 3, reference numeral 4 indicates a handle (main body to which it is attached), and reference numeral 5 indicates a thinly molded portion where additional parts are attached. When using it as a steam iron, use it in this state.

Next, FIG. 4 shows a structure for attaching the spray nozzle 6 (attachment member). When the spray nozzle 6 is pressed against the thin wall part 6 provided on the handle 4, the wall at that part is torn.
A spray nozzle 6 can be attached to the handle 4.

This reduces mold costs, and since there is no need to switch molds for each model (switching nests), there is no loss in switching time, and running costs are eventually reduced. Historically, it has been possible to improve management, extend the life of the mold, and improve maintenance.

Effects of the Invention As is clear from the above-mentioned embodiments, the component mounting device of the present invention, when attaching a mounting member to a main body to be mounted, reduces the presence of the mounting part by reducing the wall thickness of the mounting portion of the main body to be mounted. It makes it possible to use the same attached body regardless of the
Reduction of mold cost and cost reduction of two parts are important.
