Claims

[Scope of utility model registration request]

(1) A face plate with a phosphor screen adhered to its inner surface, a neck that houses an electron gun connected to the face plate via a funnel, and a stem welded near the end of the neck. In a cathode ray tube in which the stem has an exhaust pipe in the center and a lead pin composed of an internal conductor and an external pin inserted through the central part thereof, the inner surface of the stem is opposite to the face plate. Regardless of the fillet formed around each of the internal conductors of the lead pin, the pipe is sloped so that debris in the pipe falls from the peripheral part welded to the neck with a predetermined surface roughness toward the exhaust pipe. A cathode ray tube characterized by:

(2) The cathode ray tube according to claim 1, wherein the fillet is comprised of a main part and a sub part formed radially from the main part in the direction of the peripheral edge.
