ャップゴム外套外径も一般の点火プラグ用のものより人
きくなり、気筒部の点火プラグ挿入凹部を拡げる等の追
加工が必要となるという不都合がある。 本発明は上記不都合を解消する!こめになされたしので
、小型ぐ、内燃機関への装着が容易で一般の点火プラグ
ど勾換性のある圧力検出器内蔵点火プラグを112供す
ることを目的とづるものである。 上記目的を達成りるために、本発明の圧力検出器内蔵点
火プラグは、中心電極を内蔵した絶縁体をイjし、かつ
内燃(次間の燃焼室内圧力を検出する圧力検出器をηt
1え、前記絶縁体の頭部に前記圧力検出器の出ツノ信号
を伝えるように固定された環状のターミナルを設(〕、
該ターミナルの接続部は、点火プラグ高圧コードから点
火プラグハウジングの六角部上面までを一体に被覆づる
ゴムキャップ中にターミナルに接触づるように設置した
ことを特徴としている。 以下本発明の実施例を図面において説明する。 第1図に示す如く、点火プラグ1は、内燃機関の気筒頭
部に螺着されるためのねじ部33を有する金属製ハウジ
ング3、該ハウジング3内に収納される碍子等の絶縁体
2、該絶縁体2によってハウジング3と絶縁され1=中
心電極15、ハウジング3の下端に設けられて中心電極
15と対向している接地電極16、およびハウジング3
と絶縁体2とを気密に固定するための気密パツキン14
、カシメリング13から構成されている。また、ハウジ
ング3には内燃機関気筒頭部に螺着される際のプラグレ
ンチ嵌合部となる六角部11が設りられ、螺着された際
に気筒頭部と接するハウジング座面35には、環状の溝
34が設けられると共に、環状に成形された例えば圧電
素子からなる圧力検出器4が前記環状溝34内に組み込
まれて、環状の金属薄板からなるダイヤフラム41を溶
接づることにより固定されている。そして、ハウジング
3のねじ部33には、内燃機関(図示しない)の燃焼室
内圧を前記圧力検出器4へ導くために、圧力導入孔31
およびそれに続く圧力導入溝32が形成されている。内
燃機関の燃焼室内圧は圧力導入孔31、圧力導入溝32
を経てダイヤフラム41に伝達され、これにより圧力検
出器4が電気信号を光する。 ルカ検出器4からの信号を取り出す接続部は、圧力検出
器4からの出力リード線5および絶縁体2の頭部外周部
に固定されたターミナル6からなる。出力リード線5は
、テフロン等の耐熱絶縁月で被覆され、ハウジング3に

曵7ツブ9内に設()た金属n7がターミナル6の外周
部に嵌合密包することによって構成されている。高圧コ
ード17は、ゴムキャップ9内で絶縁体2の端部がら突
出した点火プラグ端子部16に嵌合させた金属筒10と
密着されるように設けられている。また、ゴムキA7ツ
ブ9内に設けた金属筒7には、リード線8が接続され外
部へ信号を取り出づようになっている。ゴムキャップ9
は、以上のようにターミナル6の接続部、リード線5、
絶縁体2のリード線5用溝21への水や塵埃の侵入を防
止している。 上記実施例の圧力検出器内蔵点火プラグ1においては、
中心型t!i15を内蔵し/j絶縁体2を有し、これを
保持する金属製点火プラグハウジング座面35に圧力検
出器4を環状に設けたものにおいて、前記絶縁体2の頭
部に前記圧力検出器4の出力信号を伝えるように固定さ
れた環状のターミナル6を設Gノ、該ターミナル6の接
続部は、点火プラグ高圧コード17から点火プラグハウ
ジング3の六角部11上面までを一体に被覆Jるゴムキ
レツブ9内にターミナル6に接触するように設置したの
で、以下のような効果が得られる。 (1)点火プラグ1を内燃機関の気筒頭部に装@づる際
に、従来の圧力検出器内蔵点火プラグのようにリード線
J3よびターミナルが外に設りられることもないのぐ邪
魔になるものがなく、一般の点火プラグと同様に容易に
迅速に螺盾さけることができる。 (2)ターミナル6は金属薄板をリング状に成形しIこ

た金属筒7であるので、ゴムキA7ツブ9の装着は特別
