第１図は従来のＥＬ発光板を有する液晶表示装置の構成
図である。第２図は本考案の１実施例を示す液晶表示装

Claims (1)
である背景板を液晶セルの背面位置に設け、前記ＥＬ発
光面が前記液晶セルに対面している時には透過型、前記
光反射面が前記液晶セルに対面している時には反射型の
光学表示を実行することを特徴とする液晶表示装置。 ２ 背景板のＥＬ発光面には散乱基板と検光子が重畳さ
れている実用新案登録請求の範囲第１項記載の液晶表示
装置。 ３ 背景板の光反射面は全反射基板と検光子の重畳体に
よって形成されている実用新案登録請求の範囲第１項記
載の液晶表示装置。 ４ 散乱基板は両生面がマット処理されかつ白色拡散層
が設けられている実用新案登録請求の範囲第２項記載の
液晶表示装置。[Claims for Utility Model Registration] 1.
