Claims

[Scope of utility model registration request]

a tape drive means for obtaining a reproduction signal of information recorded on the magnetic tape by running the magnetic tape;
a counting means for counting according to the traveling distance of the magnetic tape; a detecting means for detecting whether the reproduction signal from the tape driving means is in a sound state or a silent state; and display means for distinguishing between the sound state and the silent state and displaying an analog quantity proportional to the count value of the counting means.
