Claims

(1) A supply reel and a take-up reel that wrap and hold the tape, a supply reel rotation amount detection circuit and a take-up reel rotation amount detection circuit that detect the amount of rotation of the supply reel and take-up reel, respectively, and detection of their rotation amounts. A tape counter device comprising an arithmetic circuit that calculates an output signal of the circuit, and a display device that displays the output signal of the arithmetic circuit. (C) The tape counter device according to claim 1, wherein each of the arithmetic circuits is adapted to arithmetic average the output signals of the rotation amount detection circuits.
