Reference numeral 3 denotes a coil portion provided within the housing 2, which is preferably arranged in a loop shape around the outer periphery of the housing 2. A high dielectric material 1-4 is formed inside the coil portion 3 for electrical insulation of a watch or the like. Reference numeral 5 denotes an electrode provided on the back of the wristwatch, which obtains a reference potential by contacting the human body. Reference numeral 6 denotes a detection section provided in the housing 2, for detecting the potential difference between the voltage induced in the coil section 3 and the reference potential when the coil section 3 is located within an electric field. It is something. Reference numeral 7 denotes an alarm generation section, and by driving a speaker 8Pi, an alarm corresponding to the output from the detection section 6 is sounded from a hole H provided on the surface of the housing 2. The warning sound alerts the operator to the danger of electric shock and its dangers, so construction work can be carried out in complete safety according to the track conditions. This electric field detection device is also used during construction work on ground walls, floors, etc.
By bringing 1 close to these lines, it is possible to detect the entire position and wiring direction of the stained line, and during maintenance etc., work can be carried out according to the condition of the electric line, which helps prevent danger to workers.
