A partition wall is provided in the turbine housing to form first and second exhaust gas passages that are divided in the rotor axial direction and have flow characteristics of different sizes, and separate actuators are provided in the first and second exhaust gas passages, respectively. Therefore, first and second valve devices are provided that are opened and closed independently, and when the engine is running at low speed and under high load, the second valve device provided in the second exhaust gas passage having the smaller flow rate characteristic is opened. At the same time, the first valve device in the first exhaust gas passage is closed, and when the engine is at medium speed and high load, the first valve device is opened and the second valve device is closed. 1.
