Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain adhesive paper for a printer or copying machine which uses xerographic sheet having improved run property by using base paper with superior curling property. CONSTITUTION:The base paper of adhesive paper uses >=90wt%, preferably, >=90wt% hard wood bleached kraft pulp. When this kraft pulp is <=80wt%, the paper is easy to curl improperly by being heated in the printer or copying machine. The beating degree (C.S.F) of the pulp is >=410cc, preferably, >=430cc. Further, starch added by incorporation and size press to improve the strength is <=2g/m<2>, preferably, <=1.5g/m<2>. The starch absorbs more moisture than the pulp and when it is added by >=2g/m<2> like a continunous slip form, the curl property deteriorates. Further, the fiber orientation at a wire part and dehydration condition at a press part are controlled in the making process of paper so as to stabilize the shape and size of curl.

Prior Art A xerography-type sheet-fed printer is a printer or copier that forms an image on a sheet of paper using an electrophotographic method. Processed paper that has an adhesive layer on it and can be bonded by simply applying pressure, applying pressure by impregnating the adhesive layer with water or an organic solvent, or applying heat and pressure. Conventionally, these adhesive papers include labels, labels, stamps, wallpaper, etc. It is also used to process it into a continuous slip, print it on a printer, and then fold it or glue it to create postcards or envelopes.

However, with the adhesive paper described above, when the paper is passed through a printer or a copying machine, even paper with a small curl will curl significantly after heating, resulting in paper jams and cannot be used. Among these adhesive papers, continuous slip paper for printers that use xerography-type continuous slips is cut and processed into sheets, and can be passed through relatively well, but the size and shape of curls Furthermore, since stability is not taken into consideration, it is not practical for high-speed printers and copying machines as they tend to jam.

It is 0eC or more, preferably 430 cc or more. For general high-quality paper and continuous slip paper, the valve beating degree is often set to 400 cc or less in order to obtain strength, but this is not desirable because the elasticity of the paper due to humidity increases and curling increases.

Starch is more hygroscopic than bulbs and deteriorates when 2t≠ as in continuous slip paper. In addition, in order to stabilize the shape and size of curls, in the paper making process, the fiber orientation in the wire part and the dehydration conditions of the press part are controlled, the surface temperature difference between the upper and lower dry cylinders of the dry part, and the number of calenders are controlled. Alternatively, delicate controls such as nip pressure control are implemented.

In addition, physical curling may be corrected using a decurler during the winding and cutting processes. In order to stabilize the curling properties, moisture control is carried out during the manufacturing process, the moisture content of the product is appropriately adjusted, and moisture-proof packaging is used to maintain this level.

Furthermore, in order to improve the sharpness of the copy image area, surface irregularities are reduced and the smoothness of the transfer paper (according to JIS P-8119) is set to 20 seconds or more. The adhesive paper of the present invention is one in which an adhesive layer is provided on at least a portion of the paper surface of the above-mentioned base paper. Adhesives used include natural rubber-based, isoprene-based pressure-sensitive adhesives with low adhesive strength and tack, thermoplastic adhesives such as polyethylene and vinyl acetate, and rewetting adhesives such as dextrin, polyvinyl alcohol, and denatured starch. . These adhesives are selected and used depending on the purpose of the adhesive paper and the type of printer or copying machine used. These adhesives are applied to at least a portion or the entire surface of the base paper using a coater or a printing machine, depending on the purpose. Adhesive paper is also perforated, perforated, and printed depending on its use.
