    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 横置きエンジンのエキシストマニホルドに直結されるマ
    ニホルドコンバータのケース内に収納されるモノリス触
    媒を、横置きに設置し、前記エキシストマニホルドの内
    壁に、該エキシストマニホルドからマニホルドコンバー
    タのケース内へとダウンフローに流れる排ガスの流れが
    モノリス触媒の外周側に設けられる保持部材に直接光た
    らないように排ガスの流れを偏流させるガイド壁を設け
    たことを特徴とする自動車用排気ガス浄化装置。
