It is known that the wear resistance of this type of golf spike can be improved by including a pin member made of cemented carbide. As a method of fixing the pin member, for example, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 47-200, Tokukan Sho 48

However, these methods are not necessarily satisfactory because the pressing force is not uniform over the entire circumferential surface of the pin portion, as shown in FIGS. 4a and 4b, for example. That is,
In FIG. 4a, the pressing force is strongest near the entrance end of the receiving hole, as indicated by the arrow, so it is certainly effective at the initial stage of use. However, when the tip of the spike wears out and becomes shorter, the pin member will be supported near the bottom of the receiving hole where the pressing force is weaker.
A phenomenon in which the pin member fell off was observed. On the other hand, Fig. 4b
In this case, since the opening part of the receiving hole is plastically deformed by being pushed in by the pin member, it flows in the direction of the bag and there is almost no pressing force in the radial direction. Compared to the case shown in Figure a, it seems that the pin member has fallen off, and it cannot be put to practical use. therefore,
It is desired that this pin member can be securely and easily fixed, and that the effect of the spike can be more effectively exhibited. The present invention has been made in view of the above-mentioned points, and a receiving hole is bored in the mounting face of the spike portion having a tapered shape, and the elongated pin member made of cemented carbide is spread substantially uniformly within the receiving hole. The present invention provides an improved method for manufacturing golf spikes that can be fixed by pressure contact on the entire surface.

That is, a somewhat swollen protuberance 16 is formed on the outer surface 15 of the spike portion 8 near the bottom of the receiving hole 10, and this protuberance 16 first contacts the tapered hole 17 of the external pressure member 14. , when the pin member 11 is tightened and the raised portion q6 disappears, the spike portion 8
The entire outer surface 15 of the holder is in contact with the tapered hole 17 and is tightened and fixed.

As a result, the golf spikes 1 obtained according to the present invention are as follows:
For example, as shown in FIG. 5, a pressing force acts toward the pin member 11, and in particular, the pressing deformation force acts the most near the bottom of the receiving hole 10. Simultaneously with this cottoning action, the outer surface 15 of the spike portion 8 is patterned by the tapered hole 17. Therefore, according to the invention, the pin part 1 located at the bottom part of the receiving hole 10
As shown in FIG. 5, pressure contact is also ensured at the ends of the first and second ends, thereby eliminating any gaps that may otherwise have occurred. This is, for example, the Tokkan Showa 47-200
In the one disclosed in Publication No. 58, the pin member is strongly pressed near the open end of the receiving hole, and when the pin member wears out, it may fall off because the pressing force is weaker at the bottom of the receiving hole. However, the effect is very different. In this case, the pin member may be a straight type as shown in the figure or a tapered type with a large diameter end located at the bottom of the receiving hole 10.

As described above, the present invention is characterized in that a protrusion is formed in advance on the outer surface of the spike portion, and this protrusion is utilized for tightening the pin member embedded in the spike portion. The pin member is thinned over its entire length, which has the advantage of increasing its fixing strength and making the spike effect more effective.
