Abstract

PURPOSE:To secure a wide space with excellent workability and to eliminate inconvenience such as disconnection, etc. when a coil is packed, by dividing a shielding plate to be set between head elements into two parts to set one of two divided shielding plates before package of the coil with the other plate set after package of the coil. CONSTITUTION:This magnetic head contains four head elements 21A-21D, and elements 21A and 21B as well as 21C and 21D are set symmetrical to each other respectively. The cores 22A-22D of elements 21A-21D are formed by butting a pair of approximately C-shaped half cores and have action gaps 23A-23D formed at the sliding side of a magnetic tape together with coils 24A-24D wound at the rear part respectively. Shielding plates 25-27 are divided into the 1st parts 41, 43 and 45 and the 2nd parts 42, 44 and 46. Then the 1st plates are set before the coils are packed, and the 2nd plates are set after the coils are packed. Thus a wide space is secured with no obstacle of those shielding plates when the coils are packed. This head improves the workability and eliminate inconvenience such as disconnection, etc.

記第1の部分を前記コイルの装着前に組込み、前記第2
の部分を前記コイルの装着後に組込み、前記第1の部分
の組込みが前記コイルの装着のために十分なスペースを
刊年するごとく成されることを特徴とする磁気ヘッドの
製造方法。
