PURPOSE:To prevent crosstalk by providing a silent link in a push button telephone set which accomodates plural lines, and by connecting the link to each line during ringing or calling in the silent period. CONSTITUTION:Silent links 11 and 12, which ground each line substantially, are provided each independent line, and are connected with the line independently through switches 13a and 13b which turn on at the time of opening of respective silent period and calling path of the ringing tone, busy tone and dial tone from a ringing-tone generation means 7, a busy-tone generation means 8, and a dial- tone generation means 9. Therefore, the signal in the silent period of the ringing tone and busy tone can be grounded completely by the working of the silent link even if plural lines are connected to each other.
