Abstract

PURPOSE: To attach a function to listen to music other than a conventional function provided at a hand-free phone by providing an external input switch at the hand-free phone, and providing an external input terminal and a DP detection circuit at a main device.

CONSTITUTION: When it is desired to listen to the music, for example, inputted from the external input terminal 24 in no speech time at the main device 1, a dial pulse is sent out by depressing the external input switch 55 of the hand- free phone 5, and it is detected with the DP detection circuit 19, and a contact 27 is switched to a terminal 2 side. Thereby, a signal outputted from a tuner 25 is sent out as the music from the speaker 51 of the phone 5. Also, when a call is issued from a door phone 2 in the middle way of listening to the music, a call tone is generated from the annunciator speaker 54 of the phone 5, and the contact 27 is returned to a terminal 1 side, and when the phone 5 responds to it, the speech between the phones 2 and 5 can be performed via a crosspoint switch 15. Furthermore, the speech with a line wire can be performed in the case of receiving the incoming from the line wires L₁, L₂ similarly, which attaches the function other than the conventional function on the phone 5.
