(a) 発明の技術分野
本発明は音声装置を用いる際に必要な音声メッセージ長

(b) 従来技術と問題点
音声装置に盛んに用いられる音声メッセージ長は音声装
置のメツセージ格納容量に依って、制限される。従って
音声メツセージを用いようとする場合には音声メッセー
ジ長を予測し、音声メソセージが使用可能や否やの検討
を行うことが必要である。また音声装置に登録されるメ
ツセージは専門のアナウンサーが発声したものを用いる
のが一般である。従来音声メッセージ長を予測するには
誰かが音声メツセージを実際発声し、発声時間をストッ
プ・ウォッチにて測定するとか、又実際に音声装置に登
録されるアナウンサーが発声したメツセージを録音し此
の録音より時間を測定すると行った方法を採用している
。然し、前者はアナウンサーとの差異を生じ測定に精度
を欠くと言った欠点があり、後者は専門のアナウンサー
を必要とし測定に期間を要すると言った欠点があった。(b) Prior Art and Problems The length of voice messages commonly used in voice devices is limited by the message storage capacity of the voice device. 簡単に述べると本発明は、音声メソセージを文字で入力

とを備え、前記文字数と前記入力手段から入力する常数
a、bとから前記演算手段が常数a+常数bり前記文字
数の演算を行い総演算和に依って音声メッセージ長とす

介して音声メツセージ格納部3に格納される。一方常数
aとbはそれぞれレジスタ5と6とに入力される。制御
部2は音声メツセージ格納部3から順次文字列をバッフ
ァ・レジスタ4に入力する。文字数検出部7は文字列の
文字数を演算部8に入力する。更に演算部8には前記し
た常数aとbとも入力され演算が行われる。音声メッセ
ージ長は常数a十常数り×文字数にて表される。従って
、文字数単位の音声メッセージ長を実測しそれぞれの常
数をめておき、ディスプレイ装置1から入力する。従っ
て演算部8は各文字列単位のa+bX文字数の演算を行
