Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent a contamination caused by dropping of a toner, by providing a cylinder for rotating in a cartridge case together with a toner cartridge, in a gap between the toner cartridge and the cartridge case. CONSTITUTION:When installing a toner cartridge 1, a toner replenishing port 2 provided on the toner cartridge 1 is turned upward, engaged to a hollow part of a cylinder 4 in a cartridge case 3, guided horizontally, rotated by 180 deg., the toner replenishing port 2 is turned downward and a toner is replenished. When replacing the toner cartridge 1, the replenishing port 2 is positioned at the upper part of the cartridge case 3,and only the toner cartridge 1 is drawn out by leaving the cylinder 4. を残してトナーカートリッジ1、だけを引き抜き、前記
した装着の操作手順通りに新しいトナーカートリッジ1
をカートリッジケース3に装着する。その際補給口2か
らこほれたトナーはトナーカートリッジ1とシリンダー
4の空隙部に侵入するが、シリンダー4とトナーカート
リッジ1の空隙部にはトナーは侵入することはない。そ
のため、トナーがこぼれることはない。
