Claims

A slide base 10 is provided on the bed 7 on which the engine 6 is placed so as to be movable and driven in the same direction as the output shaft 43 of the engine 6, and a dynamometer 9 is mounted on the slide base 10 so that its input shaft 13 is connected to the engine 6. It is placed so that it is on the same straight line as the neutral power shaft 43, and one end is connected freely to the clutch 16 of the engine for a manual transmission vehicle, and the other end is connected to the input shaft 13 of the dynamometer 9.
A connecting shaft 17 connected through a flexible shaft joint 18 is supported by a support member equipped with a vibration isolating member 23, and can be freely connected to a drive plate 45 of an engine for an automatic transmission vehicle near one end of the connecting shaft.
