Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve handling speed and efficiency in an article storing apparatus for transferring articles from a vertically movable support table to a shelf of a receiving member, by constituting the apparatus such that the article storing operation is stopped when a number of such operations detected by an article storage sensor reaches a set number of shelves. CONSTITUTION:When a support table 3 reaches a predetermined shelf of a predetermined storing member 4 and a pusher 5 pushes an article onto the shelf, a sensor S4 detects the operation of storing articles and delivers a storage signal to a microcomputer, which counts the number of operations thus detected by the storage detection sensor S4. In such a manner, it determines the number of shelves which have received articles while compares this number of storing members destinated to receive articles, the latter number being stored in memory, so that the operation is stopped when the counted number reaches the number of destinated storing members. With this constitution, any useless detection is eliminated for improvement of handling speed and of efficiency.

As described above, in the longevity article storage device, even if articles are stored on all the shelves of the storage member, the storage member detects that there is no empty shelf to store the article by performing the process of storing the next article. It warns that the storage member is full and switches the storage member.

As described above, the present invention provides a device main body with a platform for supporting articles that can be moved vertically, and a storage member having multi-tiered shelves arranged adjacent to the platform. An article storage device comprising a transfer mechanism for transferring and storing articles to a shelf, comprising: a sensor for detecting article storage from the table to the shelf; a counter for counting the number of detections by the sensor; and a storage device. Since the article storage device is provided with a storage section for setting the number of strokes for storing articles of the member, and stops article storage when the number of detections of the sensor reaches the set number of shelves,
No extra time is required to detect whether the storage member is full, and efficiency is high.

依って所期の目的を達する。Thus, the desired goal is achieved.
