Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a guidance controlling method of a moving body which causes no decrease in beam intensity by splitting a light beam which is emitted from a single beam generator into plural beams, and scanning those light beams on the route of the moving body. CONSTITUTION:The laser beam generator 1 and a rotary mirror 2 rotated by a motor 3 are provided, and plural half-mirrors 4a-4c and reflecting mirrors 5a- 5c are placed between the both 1 and 2. A half-mirror 6 and a detector 7 are provided for a scanning means, and the directional laser beam emitted by the single laser beam generator 1 is split by the half-mirror 4a and reflecting mirror 5a into two parallel laser beams, which are further split by the next half-mirror 4b and reflecting mirror 5c. Consequantly, four parallel beams are incident to the automatic mirror 2 and scan on the route of the moving path through the half-mirror 6.

b. Prior Art and Disadvantages Recently, methods have been proposed for guiding and controlling the moving object or transmitting information to the moving object by scanning a light beam along the traveling route of the moving object.

However, since the diameter of the scanned light beam is small (1), a detector placed on the moving body may deviate from the scanning path of the light beam, which may interfere with the guidance of the moving body.

On the other hand, in order to facilitate the detection of light reception, it is possible to use a cylindrical lens to widen the beam width, but this method significantly reduces the intensity of the beam, so this method is not practical.

Furthermore, each laser beam is divided by the next half mirror 4b, reflection mirror 5b, half mirror 4C, and reflection mirror 5C. As a result, four parallel laser beams are incident on the rotating mirror 2, and these laser beams are scanned on the path of the moving body via the half mirror 6.

In addition, in the embodiment, scanning is performed by reflecting the divided laser beam by a rotating mirror, but this uses a small laser beam generator such as a semiconductor laser generator, and this laser beam generator ( 4) A plurality of half mirrors and total reflection mirrors may be integrally formed, and the whole may be rotated by a motor.
