Claims

A plating tank that stores a plating solution, a stripper in this plating tank, and a pair of upper and lower dam rolls that control the introduction and removal of the strip while preventing leakage of the plating solution on the outlet side.
A pair of insoluble electrodes are disposed above and below the strip passing through the plating tank with a current-carrying gap therebetween, and a pair of injection nozzles that spray a plating solution into the current-carrying gap in the opposite direction to the running of the strip. A horizontal electroplating apparatus in which the upper and lower soluble electrodes have gas vent holes and are installed in an installation position in which the current conduction gap narrows along the strip passing direction.
