Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the amount of consumed wax, reduce the possibility of carrying in a useless wax and smooth the yarn ending operation, by waxing a yarn intermittently in a fine spinning machine. CONSTITUTION:A yarn 2 spun continuously from a spinning unit 1 of a fine spinning machine is intermittently brought into contact with a wax 9 and waxed. For example, the wax 9 in contact with a guide tray 10 having a tilted surface 10' is rotatably mounted on a shaft 11 to guide the yarn 2 along the tilted surface 10' of the guide tray 10 only when the yarn 2 is deflected to the right by winding traverse, and the yarn 2 is brought into contact with the surface of the wax 9 and wound into a package 8 without waxing in the region on the outside of the wax 9. Thus, the yarn 2 is intermittently waxed regularly with one period per traverse in the long direction thereof.

More specifically, O relates to a method for intermittently waxing yarn spun from a spinning machine. Rather than being placed in a winder and rewound again, it is often placed directly into a subsequent process such as a knitting machine. Therefore, it is necessary to perform waxing during the entire spinning stage, which is normally performed in the wind mite stage, and open-end spinning machines equipped with a waxing device are widely used. However, waxing in open-end spinning machines has the following problems. In other words, in the case of a loaf-type open-end spinning machine, when the yarn being spun is cut, the seed yarn unwound from the cheese is inserted into the rotor of the spinning unit, and its tip is inserted into the fibers accumulated on the inner wall of the rotor. It is intertwined with bundles, twisted, and spliced. The spinning conditions within the rotor are critical, and in particular, good spinning requires a delicate balance of the friction coefficient between the rotor inner wall and the fiber bundle, the frictional force between the fibers between the seed yarn end and the fiber bundle, etc. However, since the seed thread unwound from the cheese has already been coated with wax, this condition is disrupted, and thread splicing often fails.
Furthermore, if splicing is repeated many times, there is a risk that wax will adhere to the inside of the rotor and the spinning itself will be affected. Therefore, when it comes to open-end spinning machines, the instrumentation is to apply as little wax as possible only to the areas where it is most necessary.

Of course, even in the case of a spinning machine other than the rotor type, for example, an air false twist type, if wax is already applied to the seed yarn unwound from the cheese when splicing the yarn, the slipping properties of the yarn will cause the yarn to slip. Otherwise, the yarn and the fiber bundle are not sufficiently entangled, which tends to impede the reliability of yarn splicing.

The purpose of waxing the yarn is to provide a lubricating effect to prevent the yarn from fuzzing or breaking due to friction between the guide and the yarn surface during subsequent processes such as knitting and twisting machines. It is.

Therefore, it is sufficient that a certain amount of wax as a lubricant is always present in the inner part of the thread as it passes. For example, if wax is applied to the thread surface at appropriate intervals,
This serves to intermittently replenish the entire amount of wax to the id area, so it can fully serve its purpose.

Based on the above findings, the present invention aims to perform the necessary minimum amount of waxing on the yarn in a spinning machine, and is characterized in that the wax is brought into full contact with the yarn continuously spun from the spinning unit. We aim to provide all waxing methods for this purpose.

The yarn 2 spun from the spinning unit 1 is passed through the guide rod 3.
The yarn is gripped by the sending roller 4 and the suppressing roller 5 and pulled out, and the yarn guide 6 regulates the position of the center of traverse while traversing through the groove 7a carved on the surface of the drum 7 and coming into contact with it. It is then taken up onto the spinning wheel 8 which rotates.

The wax 9 is held by a waxing device at such a position that its surface can be present in a part of the winding sheet wrapper area of the thread 2 (in FIG. 1, the wax 9 is at a position biased toward the rear side).

That is, as shown in FIG. 4, the wax 9, which is in contact with the guide plate 10 having the inclined surface 10', is rotatably attached to the mandrel 11. Therefore, by the winding traverse, the thread 2
is displaced to the right, the thread 2 moves toward the inclined surface 1 of the guide plate 10.
0', the yarn comes into contact with the surface of the wax 9, and the wax is applied to the surface of the yarn, but the area outside this area is not waxed and is wound onto the package 8.

In other words, the threads 2
The process of winding up is the same as in the case of FIG. 1, so a description thereof will be omitted. The wax 9 is held by a waxing device provided along the travel path of the yarn 2, and is applied to the winding traverse surface of the yarn at arbitrary time intervals by appropriate means, such as the mechanism shown in FIG. It is configured to repeatedly move to two positions, a position where it can come into contact with the thread 2 and a position where it does not come into contact with the thread 2 in the perpendicular direction. In the case of FIG. 5, the wax 9 is rotatably attached to the mandrel 11 and can rotate together with the mandrel 11 in the axial direction thereof. At the end of the mandrel 11 there is a magnetic plate 12 and an electromagnet 13 at the force ζ fixed position.
is installed opposite to. Therefore, when the electromagnet 13 is periodically excited, the magnetic plate 12 is attracted and the wax 9
recedes from the traverse plane of the thread. Therefore, waxing is applied to the thread 2 when the wax 9 is in the advanced position,
When it is in the retracted position, some wax adheres to it and it burns. In this example, the wax 9 is fixed and instead is displaced in a direction approximately perpendicular to the winding traverse surface of the gold thread along the running path of the thread 2 itself, so that the contact between the wax and the thread is entirely intermittent. . That is, in FIG. 3, the thread guide 6 itself is displaced, and in the one shown in FIG. , a removable rotary lever 14 is attached, and this lever 14 is connected to a rotary cam 15.
It is regulated by.

Further, as shown in FIG. 7, in the fourth embodiment, by fixing the yarn regulating plate 16 formed with an inclined surface 16''k along the yarn traverse surface, when the traversing yarn ascends along the inclined surface 16', wax is removed. When adhesive F is lowered to 9, it comes into contact with wax 9.

The yarn 2 obtained by the method of the present invention has the form shown in FIG. 8, and the wax adheres to the yarn surface intermittently in the length direction according to the period and period of contact between the wax and the yarn.
A) and the wrong part (B) are mixed. Incidentally, since the wax 9 in the illustrated embodiment is in contact with the running yarn at its end surface, it rotates accordingly, and only a portion thereof is not worn away.

As described in detail above, according to the present invention, waxing is performed intermittently on yarn in a spinning machine, thereby reducing the amount of wax consumed. The possibility of the yarn being brought into the splicing section of the pond can be completely reduced, and the splicing work can be carried out smoothly.

Furthermore, if the method shown in the first embodiment is used as a method for implementing this, there is no need to add any special means for effecting relative displacement between the wax and the thread, and it can be applied as is to ordinary equipment.
