Abstract

PURPOSE:To adjust smoothly the inclination of a rotary metal flask, which is inserted with a charging trough upon traveling of a carriage on a downgrade path in the direction of the trough, with a driving device having a relatively small capacity by making one end of said metal flask movable upward and downward with the other end thereof as a fulcrum. CONSTITUTION:A bed 3 which is supported at right and left ends by the bracket 22 and cylinder device 23 of an inclination adjusting device 21 is positioned level, and a rotary metal flask 2 is carried thereon. A core is inserted in the metal flask. The device 23 is operated to incline the flask 2 in conformity with the inclination of a charging trough 10 and a charging carriage 8 on a rail 6 is run to insert the trough 10 into the flash 2. The flask 2 is then rotated at a high speed and the molten metal running in the trough 10 is supplied from the left to right side by the movement of the carriage 8, whereby a pipe 14 is centrifugally cast. The flask 2 is returned again to the horizontal position on nearing the end period of the charging so that the axial centers of the flask 2 and an extraction device 13 are made coincident in a horizontal direction, then the core and the pipe 14 are extracted successively.

When performing centrifugal casting using a rotating metal frame, it is necessary to improve the flow of the molten metal during pouring, and to prevent uneven thickness by moving the molten metal in the axial direction after pouring. It is customary to make the rotating metal frame slightly inclined in the axial direction 11. On the other hand, when removing the molded product from the rotating metal frame after casting, it is desirable to remove the molded product in a horizontal direction to prevent deformation of the molded product.

Therefore, conventionally, a pouring device having a downwardly inclined pouring trough is fixedly provided, and a rotary metal frame is provided on a cart that runs on a slope road matching the slope of the pouring trough, and a rotary metal frame is installed on the downhill side of the slope road. There are some cases in which the end portion is formed with a steep slope.

That is, the metal is poured into a rotary metal frame that is tilted on a slope road, one end of the cart after pouring the metal is placed on the upward slope to bring the rotary metal frame into a horizontal position, and the molded product is extracted in this state. It is. However, with such conventional systems, there is a risk that an impact force will be applied to the cart when it runs over, which may have a negative effect on the molded product. Also, since the same rotating metal frame plowing cart, which is very seriously affected, is run on a slope, There is a problem in that the traveling drive device is required to be large in size.

In order to achieve this object, the present invention provides a pouring cart which has a pouring trough and is capable of traveling on a downward slope in the direction of the pouring trough, and a pouring cart which can travel on a downward slope in the direction of the pouring trough. A rotary metal frame to be inserted and a extraction device for horizontally extracting the molded product after centrifugal casting from the rotary metal frame are provided, and the other end is raised and lowered using one end of the rotary metal frame as a fulcrum,
The rotary metal frame is provided with an inclination adjustment device that tilts the rotary metal frame in accordance with the pouring trough during pouring, and horizontally adjusts the rotary metal frame in accordance with the extraction device when removing metal from the end of pouring.

Therefore, the inclination of the rotary metal frame can be adjusted simply by raising or lowering one end of the rotary metal frame, so smooth operation can be expected. Moreover, by running only a relatively lightweight pouring cart, it is possible to Since there is no need to run a heavy-duty dolly with a metal frame along a slope, the inclination can be adjusted using a smaller drive device than in the past.

As described above, according to the present invention, the inclination and inclination of the rotary metal frame can be adjusted by simply raising and lowering one end of the rotary metal frame, so smooth operation can be expected, and the pouring process is relatively mild. Since it is not necessary to run only the truck and run a large, heavy, and sudden truck with a rotating metal frame along the slope road, the inclination can be adjusted using a drive device with a smaller capacity than in the past.
