Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify the operation of a subscriber by transmitting information of a call relating to the subscriber by an exchange via a channel with a service device when the subscriber requests the connection to the service device. CONSTITUTION:When a subscriber 2 to be called is absent and when a calling subscriber 1 desiring an absence calling service operates the connection to a voice storage device 4, a call state monitoring section 7 transmits the telephone number of the subscribers 1, 2 and the absence transfer service number to an information section 14. Then, a central controller 6 sets an idle line corresponding section 9 and a PB signal transmitter 15 via a network 5. The said numbers are transmitted to a channel from the section 14 via the transmitter 15. After the start signal is received in the device 4, the information receiving section 11 transmits the said number to a service deciding section 12. The deciding section 12 decides the service to be offered to the subscriber 1 as the absence transfer service. When the device 4 returns the response signal to the exchange 3, the exchange 3 sets the channel between the subscriber 1 and the device 4, and the device 4 execute the absence transfer service.

In FIG. 1, an exchange 3 is equipped with a voice storage device 4 that provides absentee service, busy service, and the like. It is assumed that the subscriber 1 who can connect to the voice storage device 4 uses a push-button dial telephone. In FIGS. 1 and 2, when subscriber I who wishes to talk to subscriber 2 makes a call and dials subscriber 2's telephone number,
Exchange 3 selects subscriber 2 by a known method and sends a ringing signal, and returns a ringing tone to subscriber 1. When subscriber 2 does not respond for a long time because he is absent, when subscriber 1 who desires absentee service performs a predetermined operation (for example, selects a special number) to connect with voice storage device 4, The exchange 3 sets up a communication path to the line support section 9 of the voice storage device 4, sends an activation signal to the voice storage device 4, and returns a ring tone to the subscriber 1. When the activated voice storage device 4 returns a response signal, the exchange 3 connects to the network 5.
A communication path is established between the subscriber 1 and the voice storage device 4 via the subscriber 1 and the voice storage device 4. The subscriber 1 sequentially dials his own telephone number, the telephone number of the subscriber 2, and a predetermined absentee proxy service number to indicate his desire for the absentee proxy service. The two types of telephone numbers and the absentee service number are transmitted to the voice storage device 4 via the communication path in the form of a PB signal. In the voice storage device 4, the information receiving section 11 of the control section 10 receives the two types of telephone numbers and the absentee service number transmitted from the subscriber 1, and transmits them to the service determining section 12. The service determining unit 12 determines that the service to be provided to the subscriber 1 is the absentee service for the subscriber 2. Based on this determination, the voice storage device 4 provides the absentee substitution service to the subscriber 1 via the communication path.

As is clear from the above explanation, in a conventional information transfer system, after the subscriber 1 is connected to the audio storage device 4,
It is necessary to sequentially dial the subscriber's own telephone number, the telephone number of the subscriber 2, and the absentee service number, making the operation complicated.

In FIGS. 3 and 4, when subscriber 1 who wishes to make a call to subscriber 2 makes a call and dials subscriber 2's telephone number, exchange 183 selects and calls subscriber 2 using a known method. At the same time as sending the signal, a ringing tone is sent back to the subscriber 1. When subscriber 2 does not respond for a long time because he is absent, if subscriber 1 who desires absentee service performs the predetermined operation (for example, selects a special number) in order to connect to voice storage device 4. , the call status monitoring unit 7 in the central control unit 6, which monitors the status of all calls being processed by the exchange 3, requests connection to the voice storage device 4 while subscriber 1 is calling subscriber 2. It is determined that the subscriber 1 desires to provide the absentee proxy service, and the telephone numbers of the subscriber 1 and the subscriber 2 as well as the absentee proxy service number are transmitted to the information notification section 14. At the same time, the central control device 6 connects the idle line corresponding section 9 of the voice storage device 4 via the network 5 to
A communication path is set up between the subscriber 1 and the PB signal transmitter 15, an activation signal is sent to the voice storage bag W4, and a ring tone is sent back to the subscriber 1. The information notifying unit 14 transmits the two types of telephone numbers and the absentee service number to the PB signal transmitter 15. The PB signal transmitter I5 sequentially transmits the transmitted two types of telephone numbers and the absentee service number in the form of a PB signal to the communication path. In the voice storage device 4, after receiving the activation signal from the exchange 3, the control unit 10
The information receiving section 11 in the PB signal transmitter 15 receives the two types of telephone numbers and the absentee service number sent from the PB signal transmitter 15, and transmits them to the service determining section 12. The service determining unit 12 determines that the service to be provided to the subscriber 1 is the absentee service for the subscriber 2. When the voice storage device 4 returns the response signal to the exchange 3, the exchange 3 sets up a communication path between the subscriber 1 and the voice storage device 4 via the network 5, and the voice storage device 4 passes through the communication path. The subscriber 1 performs an absentee proxy service for the subscriber 1.
