A wire dot printer head such as a spring-charged electromagnetic type is damaged due to the conventional printing head Lt driving method, Japanese Patent Publication No. 56-46989. As shown in Japanese Unexamined Patent Publication No. 57-110462, in these types of heads, a method was used in which the printing wire was butted against the tip 9114 of the armature and joined by brazing or the like.

With this structure, workability was poor and it was difficult to increase the bonding strength. For this reason, the armature was shaped to increase the contact area with the wire, which increased the inertial mass of the drive part, which worsened the wire's response. The wire was also exposed to high heat, causing it to deteriorate and its strength to decrease. It had some drawbacks, such as being stowed away.

Another conventional technique involves passing a wire through a hole drilled at the tip of the armature and joining it with brazing (Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 57-88561), but the shape of the parts becomes complicated and the workability of the parts is poor. Next, the operation will be explained. The plunger 6 is attracted to the core 2 by the magnetic flux of the permanent magnet 1, and the leaf spring 7 is biased and held 1. When the coil 5 is energized for a certain period of time in a direction that cancels the magnetic field of the permanent magnet 1, the attracted state is released. Shown in Figure 3! 11, the lever 8 is made of a thin plate and connects the free end of the leaf spring 7 to the wire 9; the lever 8 is bent into a shape that wraps around the wire 9 at the joint with the wire 9, and the two are fixed together by resistance welding. Because of this, the part shape is simple and the part workability is good, and even if the length of the contact part between the wire 9 and the lever 8 is shortened, the inertial mass is small.
High bond strength can be obtained with low inertia. In addition, since the force (anti-welding) only applies high temperature locally for a short period of time, there is no large thermal load applied to the joint of the wire 9 with the lever 8.
The strength of the wire 9 can be ensured, and the work can be done more easily and in a shorter time than brazing. Furthermore, since the joint is not butted or matched, the relative position of the wire 9 and the lever 8 can be determined easily, improving workability.

As explained above, according to the present invention, by bending the tip of the thin plate lever, winding the wire, and fixing the wire by resistance welding, workability is improved compared to the conventional method.
Sufficient wire bonding strength can be obtained. Furthermore, since the thin plate lever is used, the drive part is lightweight and the inertial mass is small, so a print head for wire dot printers that can provide high response can be provided.
