Inorganic decorative boards are made by adhering a wood veneer with decorative properties to an inorganic substrate that serves as the core layer.By combining the two, it improves the aesthetic appearance (cosmetic properties) of the inorganic board and also improves the decorative board's appearance. Efforts are being made to make it nonflammable.

There are those that are equipped with an inorganic substrate that uses all the binder, and those that are equipped with an inorganic substrate (resin concrete board) that uses resin as the binder, but both types have problems in manufacturing or use. In other words, when manufacturing an inorganic decorative board with an inorganic substrate using cement as a binder, after the inorganic substrate is made, a wood decorative board is attached to the inorganic board using adhesive, with gold paper sandwiched between the two. There was a problem in that the plates had to be glued together, which took a very long manufacturing time. If it were possible to bond the decorative wood veneer directly at the same time as the raw materials for the inorganic substrate were formed, the manufacturing time could be shortened, but this was not possible. This is because cement has almost no adhesion ability for decorative wood veneers.
This is because, even if bonding is possible, if the raw material and the decorative wood veneer are brought into contact with each other before the raw material has hardened, the decorative wood veneer will be stained by alkaline content eluted from the cement. The reason why gold paper is sandwiched between the inorganic substrate and the decorative wood veneer is to improve the adhesion between the two and to prevent the decorative wood veneer from being soiled by alkaline content. However, even if gold paper is inserted between the two, there is still a problem in that the contamination of the decorative wood veneer by alkaline content progresses over time.

On the other hand, even in the case of inorganic decorative boards equipped with inorganic substrates using resin as a binder, after the inorganic substrate is manufactured, the wood decorative veneer must be adhered to the inorganic substrate using adhesive each time. There was a problem in that the manufacturing time was long. This is because the proportion of resin in the raw material of the inorganic substrate is usually about 3 to 10% by weight, and the amount of resin is small enough to sufficiently adhere the decorative wood veneer at the same time as the raw material is molded. Furthermore, conventionally, thermosetting resins such as phenolic resins have been used as resins, and it is necessary to apply heat when molding the raw materials, but depending on the type of decorative wood veneer, the aesthetic appearance may be impaired by heating. This is because there is. Furthermore, since a thermosetting resin is used, thermal energy is required to cure the resin, which leads to the problem of increased manufacturing costs due to the rising prices of fuels such as petroleum.

In view of these circumstances, the inventors have conducted extensive research to develop a manufacturing method that can produce inorganic decorative laminates in a short time and at low cost, which can maintain their beauty for a long period of time. It was discovered that a moisture-curable urethane resin could be used as the binder component of the substrate, that is, the core layer, and the present invention was thus completed.

As a composition for the surface portion (outer peripheral portion) of the core layer, 50 to 70 parts by weight of a moisture-curable urethane resin as a binder and 30 to 50 parts by weight of an inorganic filler (inorganic aggregate) such as fly ash are mixed. Urethane resin hardens when it absorbs moisture, so there is no need to heat it during molding. With 75S, the aesthetic appearance of decorative wood veneer is not damaged by heating, and the manufacturing cost is low. The amount of water added to each composition is 0.1-1 parts by weight, and the water content of the wood decorative veneer is preferably 60-100s, and the pressure during molding is 6-10 kg/cm, and the water content is 2-10% by weight.
It is best to take about 4 hours. After performing cold pressure, the pressure is released, and then the molded product is dried for curing if necessary, to obtain an inorganic decorative board from which residual moisture has been removed.

In addition, since cold pressing is possible, it is also possible to stack a large number of molded products in a mold or the like with gold paper or the like sandwiched between them, and press them together at the same time. In this way, a large amount of inorganic decorative board can be produced without taking up much space. When painting the surface of decorative wood veneer, you can speed up the drying of the paint by heating the surface (preheat treatment) to remove moisture before painting to an extent that does not impair the aesthetic appearance.

In the above example, the core layer is divided into three layers so that both sides of the core layer are exposed to the binder component, but this does not necessarily have to be the case. Only the surface to which the decorative wood veneer is attached may be rich in binder components. Furthermore, since urethane resin has strong adhesive strength, there may be no need to enrich the surface of the core layer with a binder component. However, if it is necessary to reduce the weight of the inorganic decorative board, making both sides rich in binder components will promote foaming when the urethane resin hardens during manufacturing, contributing to weight reduction. It is preferable to In addition, if the surface to which the decorative wood veneer is attached is rich in binder components, the resin will better wet the decorative wood veneer.
Adhesion of the core layer surface wood decorative veneer becomes easy. The types and blending ratios of raw materials other than the urethane resin are not limited to the above examples. That is, in the above example, in order to obtain a light and heavy inorganic decorative board, a lightweight aggregate was included in the core layer, but a heavier aggregate (normal aggregate, 5 weight aggregates) was added instead of @kei aggregate. It may also be included. Further, an inorganic filler (inorganic aggregate) such as fly ash is not necessarily required, and other raw materials may be used to improve the performance of the inorganic decorative board or for other purposes.

Thereafter, these were subjected to cold-press molding (cold-pressing treatment) under the conditions of a pressure of 6 kg/cf7N, room temperature, and a pressing time of 4 hours to obtain an inorganic decorative board with a thickness of 20 mm. The specific gravity of this inorganic decorative board is 0

Preheating was carried out by holding for a minute, and then the decorative surface was sanded. After this, painting was performed using an aminoalkyl paint, and an inorganic decorative board with an excellent appearance was obtained. This inorganic decorative board is nonflammable, has a low specific gravity, and is easy to carry, so it has good workability.
