Abstract

PURPOSE:To warm up sufficiently an electric blanket at the time of going to bed, and thereafter, to switch automatically to a temperature being suitable for sleep by releasing a self-holding means by detecting whether a human body exists or not, and releasing the preheating, in the electric blanket, etc. CONSTITUTION:When a self-holding means 4 is operated, a set temperature of a temperature setting means 5 is released, and is set to the highest temperature. In this way, if a temperature of a temperature detecting means is low, a thyristor 8 is turned on by an operation of a controlling circuit 7, a heater 9 is made to conduct electrically, and the set highest temperature is held. When a user uses an electric blanket, a capacitance consisting of electrodes 1A, 1B placed on the electric blanket is varied, an oscillator 2 oscillates, and a detector 3 detects it, outputs a high level signal, and releases a quick heating circuit of the self-holding means 4. As a result, the blanket is switched automatically to a temperature being suitable for sleep, which is set by the temperature setting means 5.

With the temperature control device configured as described above, the self-holding means is released when the temperature of the blanket body rises or after a period of time has elapsed. If you use it with the camera on, the temperature will reach the predetermined normal operating temperature (relatively low temperature suitable for sleeping) set by the temperature setting means, so you won't feel warm and will feel uncomfortable when sleeping. In addition, when the user turns on the self-holding means driving switch 17 to drive the self-holding means 4, the transistor 20 is turned off by turning on the switch 17, and the collector potential of the transistor 20 becomes a high level. Depending on the on-operation of the transistor 14, the base current is not continuously supplied to the transistor 20, and the transistor 20 maintains the off-operation. By this operation, the self-holding means 4 is self-held.

Therefore, by turning on the self-holding drive switch 17, the electric blanket rises to the maximum temperature and maintains this temperature regardless of the set temperature. That is, if the temperature of the temperature detection means 6 is lower than the temperature of the temperature setting means 5 (maximum temperature in this case), the control circuit 7 operates to turn on the thyristor 8, and the shim heater 9 is energized, so that the temperature of the temperature detection means 6 increases. If the voltage is high, the thyristor 8 is turned off and the heater 9 is not energized.

When a human body (user) uses an electric blanket, the capacitance of the electrodes IA and IB arranged on the electric blanket changes, for example, 05C.
2 oscillates, and the detector 3 detects the oscillation state of the 05C2 and outputs a high level signal. The output signal of the detector 3 is applied to the base of the transistor 20 via the resistor 15, and the transistor 20 is turned on. When the transistor 20 is turned on, the base current of the transistor 14 is bypassed and turned off.The base current is supplied to the transistor 20, and the transistor m continues to be turned on and the transistor 14 is turned off. This action releases the self-holding means 4. When the self-holding means 4 is released, the transistor 21 is also turned off, and the voltage short circuit of the temperature setting volume 22 is also released. Therefore, when the self-holding means (fast heating circuit) is released, the temperature is set by the temperature setting volume 22, and the electric blanket maintains the temperature corresponding to the resistance value of the temperature setting volume 22.

Effects of the Embodiments of the Invention As explained above, the self-holding means drive switch 17 is turned on at the beginning of energization of the electric blanket, and the self-holding means (fast heating circuit) 4 is driven to preheat the electric blanket. In the past, the duration of preheating was controlled by temperature (temperature rise) and time (elapsed time, timer), so preheating is canceled after a certain period of time, and if you go to bed after that, it will be suitable for sleep. However, according to the present invention, the preheating effect is not sufficiently exerted due to the low temperature.
The electric blanket detects the presence or absence of a human body (detects sleeping), releases the self-holding means, and cancels preheating, so the electric blanket is sufficiently warm when sleeping, and then automatically switches to a temperature suitable for sleeping. You can sleep comfortably because of this.
