    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 工作機械の主軸に挿着されるセーフトルクアダプタ及び
    このセーフトルクアダプタにタップを支持するためのタ
    ップ保持体とを有するタップ保持′　　　装置において
    、上記タップ保持体はタップの柄部及び該柄部先端に形
    成した角部と嵌合する円筒部及び角穴を有するとともに
    、上記タップ保持体の円筒部分にはタップを固定するた
    めのロックねじ、を螺合し、このロックねじの螺入先端
    には上記タップ柄部と外周面に押圧係合する鋼球を回転
    可能に取付けたことを特徴とするタップ保持装置。
