回転し得るよう軸線方向に重なり合って配置されたイン
ナーおよびアウタープレートと油圧が供給されることに
より前記両プレート間の相対的回転を摩擦的に制動すべ
く両プレート互いに° 軸線方向に押し合わせるシ
リンダーピストン装置とを有する摩擦係合装置とを含み
、該摩擦係合装置を選択的に係合せしめることにより複
数個の変速段のうちの何れかを達成するように構成され
た・ 自動変速機において、前記摩擦係合装置の少
なくとも一つにおけるシリンダーピストン装置のピスト
ンを、油圧受圧部とプレート当接部とスプリング座部と

ピストン復帰用のダイヤフラムスプリングを着座せしめ
