Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a light-weight foamed ceramic sheet, by preparing a ceramic sheet containing specific amounts of a glass raw material having a melting point of <=1,000 deg.C, a fibrous material, and a foaming agent, and foaming the sheet at <=1,000 deg.C. CONSTITUTION:100pts.wt. of a glass mineral raw material having a melting point of <=1,000 deg.C, a fibrous material, and 0.5-5pts.wt. of a foaming agent are dispersed in water to obtain the sheet-forming slurry, and a ceramic sheet is prepared from the slurry. The ceramic sheet is calcined at <=1,000 deg.C to gasify the foaming agent and obtain a foamed light-weight ceramic plate containing innumerable closed cells.

Conventionally, in manufacturing ceramics such as tiles, a slurry is prepared by thoroughly mixing and dispersing clay mineral raw materials and pulpy raw materials in water, and then this slurry is made into paper using the same method used to make paper. Then, as shown in Figure 1, these ceramic sheets (3), etc. are fired to produce sheet-shaped ceramics (4). It is commonly practiced. However, the ceramics manufactured in this way (
4) has a high bulk specific gravity and is difficult to handle, and if the bulk specific gravity is to be lowered to make it lightweight, the ceramic sheet must be fired at a high temperature of 1000'O or higher.

The present invention will be explained in detail below. Crow mineral raw material is 10
00"C or less, such as low melting point frit fine powder or low melting point sorter lime glass fine powder, etc.)
I can do one thing. As a sweet, fibrous material,
For example, pulp: asbestos, rock wool, glass fiber, etc. can be used, and as a blowing agent, carbonated calcium,
Tohelomite, silicon carbide, etc. can be used alone or in combination. To prepare a slurry for papermaking, the above-mentioned crow mineral raw material is mixed and dispersed in water to create a slurry, and then a separately finely ground foaming agent is added to this slurry, and a fibrous material is further added and mixed and dispersed. This process prepares a slurry for papermaking. Here, when using a low melting point frit as the moon lath mineral raw material,
A frit slurry is created by mixing frit with water and pulverizing it in a ball mill, or by mixing frit that has been pulverized in a pulverizer with water while applying shear in a mixer such as a disper. When using low-melting-point sorta lime flakes, finely crush the sorta lime flakes in a pulverizer, and mix the fucolas powder and water with a mixer such as a disper while applying shear to create a slurry of grit powder. It is something to create. It is preferable to add the foaming agent in an amount of 0.5 to 5 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of the Nocorus mineral raw material. If the amount added is less than 0.5 parts by weight, the foaming effect will be small, and if it exceeds 5 parts by weight, the foaming effect will be small. However, it deteriorates other physical properties. In addition, it is preferable that the fibrous material is blended at 2 to 15 weight ff1% with respect to the fj crow mineral raw material, and if the fibrous material is less than 2 weight, it is preferable to take it out as a sheet-like material during papermaking, and 15 weight If it exceeds %, foaming will occur during firing and foaming of the paper sheet, which will be described later, resulting in intoxication. The slurry for papermaking thus prepared is preferably diluted to a concentration that facilitates papermaking by adding water before or after mixing and dispersing the fibrous material. Next, the diluted slurry for papermaking is sent to a papermaking machine, and after being made into a sheet or paper, it is dried to obtain a ceramic sheet [+],
Then, as shown in Figure 2, the ceramic sheet (1) is
The foamed ceramic plate (2) is obtained by firing at a low temperature of about 0 o'a. In addition, when making paper, basid sulfate is used.

It is also possible to use a small amount of fixing material such as polyaluminum chloride or polyacrylamide, which is effective in improving yield and water resistance, and also improves the ceramic sheet after drying. In order to maintain the strength of (1), 0.5 to 5 tlQ% of starch, polyhinyl alcohol, water-soluble organic polymer binder, etc. may be added to the crow mineral raw material.

Since the 15 lath mineral raw material used melts at a low temperature of 1000'0 or less, the ceramic sheet (1) can be fired at a temperature of 1000''C or less, and a blowing agent is not used at that time. By blending,
During firing, the foaming agent foams and generates 23 soot, resulting in the formation of countless independent foamed cells inside the foamed ceramic plate (2), which lowers the bulk specific gravity.

”-, the present invention prepares a slurry for papermaking by mixing and dispersing a raw material of crow mineral having a melting point of 1000°0 or less, a fibrous material, and a blowing agent in water, and then using this slurry for papermaking. A ceramic sheet was created by paper-making, and then the ceramic sheet was fired at a temperature of 11,000° or less to foam the foaming agent. When the ceramic sheet was fired, the foaming agent was thermally decomposed to generate noses, and the inside became independent. By forming countless foamed cells, a foamed ceramic plate with low bulk specific gravity can be manufactured, and the firing temperature can be set to 1000°.
It is possible to produce lightweight foamed ceramic plates even though the temperature is lower than Celsius.
